Our Ferret Health Guarantee
Our ferret kits are 100% safe, healthy, and free from any signs of infection at the time they are shipped to you. We take great pride in the care we provide, and our relationship with you does not end when you take home one of our kits. As dedicated breeders and experienced ferret caretakers, we do everything within our power to ensure our kits thrive. However, a ferret’s long-term health also depends on factors beyond our control such as genetics, exercise, diet, environment, and daily care.
Replacement Policy
While we know that no ferret can ever truly be “replaced” due to the emotional bonds we form with them, we believe that the pain of losing a beloved kit can be eased when we can offer another ferret of equal value.
If your ferret passes away within one year of the purchase date, or is diagnosed within that same year with a serious health disorder that significantly affects its quality of life, we will replace your ferret with another kit of equivalent value at no cost.
A licensed veterinarian must certify the cause of death or condition, and we require a copy of the medical report sent to us via email.
Ongoing Health Support
Nothing makes us happier than knowing one of our ferret babies brings joy into your home. We provide continuous health advice and guidance to help you keep your kit in excellent condition. To maintain this health guarantee, we require the following:
• A licensed veterinarian must examine your ferret within 10 business days of arrival.
Please email us a copy of the health examination (medical record).
Exceptions to This Guarantee
This health guarantee does not apply in the following cases:
- Failure to provide regular veterinary care
- Lack of proper nutrition, poor environment, or neglect
- Any condition related to spaying/neutering, including undescended testicles
- Injuries or illness resulting from accidents, ingestion of foreign objects, or improper housing
Our Pre-Shipment Veterinary Process
Every ferret kit receives a full health examination before being shipped. Our licensed veterinarian provides a detailed Veterinary Health Report evaluating:
- Cardiovascular
- Skin & coat
- Eyes
- Teeth, mouth & gums
- Musculoskeletal system
- Respiratory system
- Ears
- Urogenital system
- Gastrointestinal system
This report is completed on the day your kit is shipped, ensuring you receive an up-to-date certification of good health. If any concerns arise during this exam, the ferret will not be shipped until cleared by our vet.
We also require that you take your ferret to a licensed veterinarian within 10 days of receiving your kit to confirm continued good health.
