We understand that many wonderful homes for our ferret kits are located far from us, which is why we offer safe, reliable, and carefully coordinated shipping arrangements. With many years of experience delivering ferret kits across the country, we’ve perfected a process that ensures your baby ferret remains comfortable, calm, and well cared for during the journey.
We work only with reputable pet-transport services that follow strict USDA guidelines. Airlines and specialized pet-care teams treat our kits with the highest level of care, knowing that safety and customer satisfaction are top priorities. Each ferret travels in a secure ferret cage equipped with food, water, and a soft, comfortable bed so they can rest throughout their trip.
To help ease the transition into their new home, our ferret kits travel with familiar items such as a toy or blanket they already know reducing stress and preventing any sense of loss or environmental shock.
Before booking any flight, we personally contact and screen the shipping companies to confirm their reputation, safety practices, and experience with small animal transportation. Our ferret kits never travel in cargo. Instead, they fly in the passenger section of the plane with trained pet nannies who monitor and care for them throughout the entire trip.
We always request the most direct flights available just as you would when booking a trip for yourself. Most flights for our kits range between 2–6 hours, and we never accept routes that exceed six hours to avoid unnecessary stress. We stay informed about all departures, layovers, and arrival times so we can update you at every step. We remain at the airport until your ferret kit is safely in the air and on the way to you.
Over the years, every kit we’ve shipped has arrived safely, comfortably, and ready to meet their new family. In many cases, a short flight is far more comfortable for a young ferret than a long drive of four hours or more.
